Aims and objectives

The Health and Safety Awareness course helps site workers to:
• Identify hazards on site and how to avoid them.
• Identify the individual’s and their employer’s responsibilities for looking after themselves and others around them.
• Achieve a good understanding of health, safety, welfare and environmental issues.

Course content

The course covers health, safety, welfare and environmental issues and the individual’s responsibilities in looking after themselves and others around them.

Intended for

This course is designed as an introduction for those who are new to or are about to enter the industry.
